Patricia Sasser

Patricia Puckett Sasser is an associate librarian at Furman University, where she directs the Maxwell Music Library and teaches research methods in both music and the humanities. Her own work examines late 19th and early 20th century opera and ballet, with a special focus on Scandinavia and Europe’s northern periphery. This work has appeared in NotesFontes artis musicaeJournal of Music History Pedagogy, Dance Research, and Cambridge Opera Journal (forthcoming). She is the recipient of the 2019 Vladimir Féderov Award from the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres and the 2022 Carol June Bradley Award from the Music Library Association. She was appointed to the Fulbright Specialist roster in 2020.
