Kennedy Creek Old Time Music Concert:
Hog-Eyed Man & The Griddle Lickers

Close out a day of Old Time Music at the Kennedy Creek Old Time Music Festival by joining us for a concert with Hog-Eyed Man and friends.

Fiddler Jason Cade and multi-instrumentalist Rob McMaken are Hog-Eyed Man: the last guardians of 19th century solo fiddle traditions from the Southern Appalachians played with a wild and lyrical earthiness that still resonates with anyone who appreciates authentic tradition and unvarnished musical expression.  Hog-eyed Man takes listeners on a soulful journey, rooted in community and tradition, stretching back into this forgotten past while simultaneously reaching forward to oldtime music’s alternate future. Hog-eyed Man’s explorations into the deep old-time music of the Southern Appalachians have been documented on four critically acclaimed CD volumes.

Hog-Eyed Man will be joined on stage by the Griddle Lickers, versatile Old Time musicians Mick Kinney and Evan Kinney.

Time: 7:00–8:30pm
Venue: Kennedy Creek Pavillion

(NOTE: This event is free, but attendees intending to stay overnight should reserve accommodations at Kennedy Creek Resorts.)
