YUEN accuses SIT of murdering FU MUI. The EMPEROR puts LAN, SIT and his daughter into jail. Suspicious, CHOR starts to investigate. Besieged by Wu at WAH SHAN, WU and KO hide in the secret room with the FOURTH LORD while CHUN seeks help from CHOR. Forbidden by YUEN to save WU, CHOR secretly searches for FU MUI and discovers her corpse. Releasing SIT and the others, CHOR is accused by YUEN before the EMPEROR. YUEN sends LING to poison the EMPEROR but is discovered by CHING who, however, lacks evidence to accuse YUEN. Growing weak, the EMPEROR announces that YUEN is to be his heir. In the ceremony, CHOR appears disclosing that YUEN is not the EMPPEROR’s son.
